Dear Family and Friends
Dear Family and Friends
We look forward to seeing you at:
Easthampstead Crematorium
South Road
Nine Mile Ride
Wokingham
Berks
RG40 3DW
Tel: 01344 420314
The ceremony will start promptly at 10.30am, Friday 2nd March so we suggest you arrive a bit earlier.
Just before Kevin became ill he intended to become actively involved in the Buddhist Rokpa Trust project to set up a Community and Meditation centre in this area. Sadly he was unable to do so.
In accordance with his wishes, he would like a donation to be made to this charity rather than flowers. Details will be provided at the Ceremony. If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation, please contact me for details.
All the best
Sue & Nick
“It is very saddening to hear of Kevin Marsdon's death. He worked with me up on the gallery doing sound. He was a perfectionist and used the sound system to its full extent.
Nothing was a problem; there was always a way around an obstacle to achieve the desired result. I will miss Kevin and his cheery expertise greatly. R. I. P.”

I was really shocked to read that Kevin Marsdon had died! I only met him once but he seemed a lovely and very genuine, gentle person.

I was very saddened to read of Kevin’s passing in today’s ‘Business in Berkshire’.
I met Kevin during the late 80’s, when we were both involved in the South Hill Park production of “The Fantastic Mr. Fox”. Kevin gave his Mr. Badger! Kevin was very much associated in Community Theatre at that time and wrote as well as performed in many productions, both in The Wilde and Studio Theatres at the Park. I believe he was also involved with The Quince Players and was responsible for the lovely verse by local poets which was to be seen adorning the walls of The Sun Cafe in Sunninghill village.
More recently, Centrestage teamed up with Kevin to create a unique team building program that combined the challenges and insights of team development with performance and presentation skills learning. Kevin pulled out of the project due to ill health but was extremely generous with his time and encouragement in designing the pilot event which sadly, he was unable to attend.
I thought it a particularly cruel irony that Kevin’s illness had such an adverse effect on his speech when he had devoted so much of his undoubted talent for verbal communication to benefit so many people.
He will be much missed not only by businesses but also by the local community.

Life’s a stage… so what’s it going to be next time Kev?
Its great knowing you, I’ll consult with you from time to time as obstacles come my way, so keep the channels open!

I have known Kevin for many years. He was always fun to be with, happy to share his wisdom and to sing. He was easy to know, easy to like and easy to remember. He will be missed.
