This year the Awards are sponsored by BT. Thanks to their generosity, there are prizes of £500 laptops for the Silver Surfer of the Year and £250 Dixon's vouchers for each of two runners-up. The lucky Silver Surfer Entrepreneur of the Year also gets a £500 laptop and the Event Holder of the Year gets a £500 Dixons voucher to spend as they see fit.
These prizes are well worth having. But most importantly the Awards celebrate the achievements of older people who have embraced the technology for their own benefit and the benefit of others. And they give you an opportunity to value those older people in your organisation, amongst your friends and family, for the efforts they make with technology and the wonders they perform.
