Walk This Way : Charities mean Business Workshop

Social Media Directors, Footprints and Braywick HEATH Nurseries have teamed up to bring you a half day workshop aimed at those charities that who observe the ever changing landscape of civil society and public service policy and realise they need to wake up to the fact that new strategies are needed. There is still money out there but less of it to go around. They need therefore to start thinking smarter about how they can be in the best position to be in receipt of it. The drive for localism means that local councils and local communities have a much greater say in how public service budgets are set. Also small, medium and larger businesses are looking at how innovation applies to their CSR Policy – considering smarter and more meaningful ways to invest and make a difference locally. All this means charities and social enterprises, whilst still retaining their passionate distinctiveness, need to think differently, be more agile and responsive, and be prepared to work differently. Come and discover new ways to be ahead of the game and the value of Social accounts.

Date: 10th November

Location: Braywick HEATH Nurseries, Maidenhead

Cost: £75 + VAT for half day workshop inc lunch

If you want to land a local council tender then having your charities social accounts in order will assist you greatly in ticking many of their necessary boxes.

Once you have that in order you need to know where the opportunities lie and in 2011, LinkedIn is a popular business development environment for many businesses.

We have brought two great facilitators together for 1 day only at Braywick HEATH Nurseries to share their wisdom and help you learn how to make some easy wins if you are ready to accept that your organisation needs to get more business savvy.

It is a half day event so that you can keep things running smooth at the office and the fee includes a 15 minute 121 phone call with both our trainers, at your convenience, after the event. Ensuring you get most of what you might need to move your charities business activities in the right direction.
